Description:

A demonstrative workshop on how to make liquid soap from scratch, using hot process and potassium hydroxide. Participants will be shown the 2 part process: how trace is achieved using potassium hydroxide and how to dilute the soap paste made the day before.

Topics will cover:
-how to formulate a recipe
-how to create clear liquid soap
-fragrancing, coloring
-and how to super-fat your soap for a hydrating body wash.

Each participant will leave with a good quantity of liquid soap customized to their liking.

The workshop is approximately 3 hours and is given in French and/or English depending on the needs of the participants.

All materials will be provided, although participants are encouraged to bring protective clothing or an apron to put over their street clothes.

Cost is $60 per person (all materials are included).

A $40 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in the class.
Max 10 participants per class, minimum 6.
In the event that the workshop is canceled, the deposit will be returned.
